Combining precision engineering with real-world usability

A leader in electrophysiology and multiphoton imaging, the client set out to create an advanced electrophysiology system with the largest movable mounting stage ever designed. The goal was to improve precision, usability, and the integration of electrophysiological tools.
Generative Parametrics designed and built the prototype, creating a new product to empower neuroscience and cardiac clinicians and further researcher worldwide.
The design required addressing several critical challenges:
Durability and usability were also key, with the system requiring drip resistance and easy maintenance to withstand real-world lab conditions.
The development began with detailed 3D modeling to ensure seamless integration of components. Each structural element was refined to minimise electrical interference and optimise performance.
Elements included to innovate:
The client has seen a surge in adoption of the product across global laboratories. The collaboration with Generative Parametrics demonstrates the power of innovation and design in addressing complex scientific challenges.
