A Team GB athlete approached us with the need for a specialised storage solution for their Pro triathlon bike that wouldn’t impact performance. The bike box needed to securely hold essential items, like CO2 canisters and inner tubes, without compromising the bike’s aerodynamic efficiency or adding unnecessary weight.

The solution leveraged an internal hexagonal core structure, offering exceptional strength while minimising bulk. Using advanced software like nTopology, GP optimised the lattice design to deliver superior impact resistance, keeping items safe during grueling races while maintaining an ultralight profile.

The box’s outer surface was meticulously crafted to align with the bike’s sleek profile. Every contour and angle was designed to reduce drag, ensuring the box integrated seamlessly with the bike’s natural aerodynamics.
